One Man Went to Mow...

I have put off mowing the grass all day on the flimsy excuse that I just simply had to listen to West Ham on 5 Live. And whaddaya know? They beat Wigan 3-0! Unconfined joy in the Dale household... Right, where's that mower...

PS I'll be reviewing the papers on News 24 tonight at 11.45pm.

I've got separate bets on WIGAN AND the HAMMERS to go down! Come on Charlton.

I wouldn't bother cutting the grass, the next rain forecast for the South East is May 9. There goes the sugar beet!

Hmm. being a football thicky - can West Ham still do it ? I thought that since they were facing Man Utd on the last game, they could only escape the drop winning that match plus not losing again ?

Congrats, genuinely hope the Hammers stay up. A club with such a rich history deserves top flight football more than Wigan, especially as there ground is half empty more often than not

If we beat Bolton we may escape even if we get beaten at Man U. Fulham and Wigan have bad run ins too.

Iain, if it is hot down South then the temperature in raising to boiling point in Scottish politics. Labour seem to be exploding with the heat of the campaign!

Interesting story about subsidising the Scots you picked there. It's always a surprise to a lot of Nats why England is so keen on the Union.

Could be Fulham and not West Ham for the drop Iain.

BTW, just memed you about something

Mind you I think West Ham should have been deducted points. Middlesborough were a few seasons back and this season AFC Wimbledon, of the Ryman Premier, were given a three point deduction.

King Gordon has a 28 point lead in Scotland - but he's still going down.

Hope we'll be seeing the mighty Hammers at the Stadium of Light next season!
