Great Headlines of Our Time: No 94

Cracking headline in this morning's Sun on a story about a Collie dog being given Viagra. The headline ran...

GIVE A DOG A BONER

Years ago, The Sun did a story about Prince Charles claiming to be a hands on father to baby William, and saying how he enjoyed being there at William's bath time whenever committments allowed. The Sun's headline: Charles plays with Willie in bath!
Priceless.

The Tories had a funny headline last week:

"Brown 'in denial' over 24-hour drinking"

"Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device"

is so very last year, Iain...

Sorry Iain...couldn't resist it! Took me ages to work out how to delete the message from mine.

Well do tell me how to do it and I will delete it too!

You do it from your computer, via the Blackberry Device Manager program, rather than the Blackberry itself.

This is where you also set up your Blackberry to run multiple e-mail addresses.

It only took me 9 months of ownership before I found this program!

Can anything beat "OUT COMES THE WILSON CHOPPER" (Evening Standard report on a 1969 Cabinet reshuffle) as the greatest political headline of all time?

Has anyone seen page 21 of "The Telegraph" today? Next to the headline: "Hillary under seige by McCain and Obama over Iraq" is a rather unflattering picture of Hillary.

Your mate Kevin Maguire made a reference to you in a discussion of Total Politics in the New Statesman today.

I'll be reading it as soon as the people my mate knows on Stoke City Council have finished with it.

Surely there must be some mention of Mucca today of all days.

I am not sure Fiona Shackleton is known to her mates as "Shacka" but she simply has to frame the front page and hang it on her wall

NOTW on Heather Mills' affair before she and Sir Paul were married:

"Rumpy Stumpy"

(in rather bad taste but I'm afraid I laughed)

The Daily Record on Celtic's loss to Caledonian Thistle after they scored two late goals:

"Super cale go balistic - Celtic are atrocious."
