Thank You (And Damian Green)

This week has been the busiest ever on the blog - more Absolute Unique Visitors than any other week since the blog started. 25,000 of you. In the words of the immortal Bryan Adams...

Everything I do, I do it for you.

Well, not if you're Chris Paul, naturally. But you get my drift.

Does that mean that returning visitors like me aren't included in that thankyou? :**( ;)

*Off Topic*
Have you lost weight, or is that photo of you on your homepage taken at a particularly bad angle? I'm asking because when i've seen you on TV you look quite thin, yet the photo suggests a man about 2 stone heavier?

Before you delete me from ever posting on your blog again, I would hasten to add that yes, that was a compliment!

Does any read Chris Paul's tosh these days?

Keep on quoting Brian Adams lyrics at us and the placid sound of tumbleweed emanating from this blog will indeed become deafening!

Luos appears to be attempting to boost his company's google profile via a blogspam. It won't work by the way Luos, as Google deprecates blog links.

An alternative and outrageous theory is that Iain is piloting a new type of paid-for blog posts. Brown bags stuffed with cash anyone?

Perhaps I haven't being paying attention, but I have not seen any commentator explain why neither Dave nor Boris rang Smith to try to put the proposed police action on hold.

We know that both were informed shortly before it happened.

My guess is that they assumed she had been consulted and had given her approval.

If so, nothing could show more clearly that they both believed that the government was quite prepared to use the Police to pursue political ends - whether or not it turns out actually to be what happened (although I'm still betting that it was).

On this point, when did the phrase 'national security' get its first mention? Was it Normington or was it Clouseau of the Yard? They both need to be called to account on this without further ado.

I think I prefer reading Chris Paul's comments than the spam from luos at 5.07am.

Great read Iain, great blog.

Normal protocol Iain is to embed a link for any fellow blogger you mention. I certainly do that every time I drive traffic to your site.

It sometimes seems as you wish to be able to say anything and everything you want and simply be applauded for it however much it jars with facts, general consensus among real experts, or indeed other people's opinions.

Is that it? You want a world where your ideas and opinions go unanswered and no other opinions are expressed?

You are officially the Labour Party's Favourite Tory Blogger. Be one with this accolade. Enjoy it.

And that Spam that John mentions is still there. Are you getting paid for all the many purchases of Ugg Boots by the Iain Dale wassive?

You drive lots of traffic to my site? Oh, please...
